With IELTS One Skill Retake, you now have the option to retake any one section of the test (Listening, Reading, Writing, or Speaking) within 60 days of your original test date. if you need to improve on one area (instead of retaking all four sections). We understand that most people achieve their desired scores on the first attempt. However, if you feel you didn't perform your best in all areas, IELTS One Skill Retake can help you get back on track. This option is available for both IELTS Academic and General Training tests. How does IELTS One Skill Retake works?

IELTS One Skill Retake is a new way that allows test takers to retake one section of the IELTS test instead of retaking the entire test. This option is beneficial for those who have performed well in 3 sections but need to improve their score in one specific area, be it Listening, Reading, Writing, or Speaking.

How to book IELTS One Skill Retake (OSR)?

When you log into your profile page on IELTS IDP India website, you will see your IELTS results. If you would like to improve one result, simply click on the ‘Retake’ button for that skill of the test to book. Please be aware, you can only book one skill retake once per full IELTS test.

Australia

IELTS One Skill Reatke is accepted by the Australian Department of Home Affairs, the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency, and more than 50 Australian universities and institutions already. Over 12,000 organisations around the world accept IELTS. You will need to check with these organisations to see if they also accept IELTS One Skill Retake results.
