What is the IELTS results time?

Do note that you will receive only one copy of your result (TRF), or two copies if you are also applying to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). You can ask the test centre to post the results to you, or if convenient, pick the results from the centre in person.

What is Test Report Form (TRF) result of IELTS?

A copy of your IELTS result is known as the Test Report Form (TRF). Each candidate is issued only one IELTS test report form, which is valid for two years. You will only receive one copy of your TRF, unless you are applying to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), or the United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) – in this case, you can receive two.

Where can I find my TRF number on IELTS?

The TRF number is available on the Test Report Form you receive and through the unofficial online result displayed at the top of the page.

How to get an additional test report form (TRF)?

You can get additional TRFs from your test centre beyond the first five TRFs that issued your results. An administration fee may be charged for the additional TRFs. If you lose your TRF, you’ll have to contact the test centre to report the issue.

Will I receive a physical copy of my IELTS score card?

We've fully digitized all records & we only provide a soft copy now, i.e. Electronic Test Report Form(eTRF) to all candidates.

How do I report my IELTS scores to organizations & universities?

IELTS Score Reporting: Log in and use the 'ATRF' tab to send electronic or physical score reports. Up to 5 electronic reports are free for recognized universities. Physical requests take 7-10 working days to process.

What if I am not satisfied with my scores?

1. If unsatisfied with scores, request an Enquiry on Result (EOR) via the 'EOR' tab in the candidate portal. Results available in 2-21 days.

2. For IELTS on Computer: OSR available for computer test takers. Retake one section within 60 days. Check eligibility in your candidate portal.

Can I extend my IELTS test score validity?

IELTS scores are valid for two (2) years only. There is no option to extend this validity.

Which IELTS score/result can I use if I have multiple results available?

You can choose to use any of your past test results until their 2 year validity ends individually.
